CLASS SCHEDULE

All of our classes are held at our studio in Mayfield, East Sussex.

BOXCON

Boxing and Core Conditioning

​

Monday 11.45-12.45

​

This class is comprised of Sparring with Boxing Gloves and Pads (you will not hit each other without pads). You will work in pairs and learn how to perform key boxing strikes and how to hold pads. The class will finish with 15/20 minutes of core strength, followed by a stretch.

This boxing class will develop muscular strength and endurance, cardiovascular fitness, balance, and coordination. Class size is capped at 8 people per class, all equipment is provided. No previous boxing experience needed.

FUNC 

Functional Strength Circuits Class

​

Tuesdays 10.30-11.30

Fridays 9.15-10.15 

 

A high energy strength class in the form of a circuit, this is a full body workout using resistance training (weights) and bodyweight. Our functional strength classes focus on dynamic movement patterns where the body is challenged in all planes of motion, this is key for injury prevention in everyday life. This class is endurance based and focuses on lifting weights in a safe and efficient way. All abilities are very welcome, and the workout can be scaled to suit. Class size is capped at 10 people per class and all equipment is provided.

FLEX & mobility 

Mobility, Flex and Stretch Class using the Stick Mobility training system

Wednesdays 10.30-11.15

 

This class gives a well-deserved nod towards the importance of mobility, this is for EVERYONE. For most, mobility is very much neglected in training, which will creep up on us when it significantly reduces as we age. To pro long the longevity of our bodies we must nourish them physically and working on mobility at any point in life will only impact our bodies in a positive way. This class is a functional mobility class based around a  training system utilising STICKS. Stick Mobility training allows you to elevate active and dynamic stretches, aids strength training, improves joint mobilisation and increases range of motion. This training technique is used across many sporting disciplines to prime athletes, so why shouldn’t we all prime our bodies for everyday life!

POST NATAL FUNC 

Functional Strength Class for Post Natal Clients – Pelvic Floor and Core Rehabilitation Programme (baby is welcome to the class with mum)

Friday 10.30-11.15

 

A form focused full body strength endurance class in the form of a circuit. There is a firm focus on pelvic floor and core rehabilitation post birth. All exercises and movement will assist the healing process of the body. This class is endurance based and focuses on lifting weights in a safe, tempo based, effective way. All post-natal women are very welcome (6/12 weeks post-delivery minimum). This class is also appropriate for someone who is new to fitness and strength training. Class size is capped at 8 people per class and all equipment is provided.

FUNC DADS

Functional Strength Circuits Class for Dads

Thursday 10.15-11.15

 

A high energy strength class in the form of a circuit, this is a full body workout using resistance training (weights) and bodyweight but for men/dads only. Our functional strength classes focus on dynamic movement patterns where the body is challenged in all planes of motion, this is key for injury prevention in everyday life. This class is prodominantly strength based and focuses on lifting weights safely and efficiently. There is an underlying focus on core and mobility which runs throughout. All abilities are very welcome, and the workout can be scaled to suit. Class size is capped at 10 people per class and all equipment is provided.
